From Operational Challenge to Action
Having worked as a dispatcher himself, Simone knows the practical challenges that come with monitoring multiple flights and making decisions under time pressure. During the main part of the webinar, he will use his own operational experience to demonstrate how he would approach common challenges with OpsControl Flight Tracking, including:
Fragmented operational information
When weather, NOTAMs, tracking data, and operational messages are spread across different systems, it can take valuable time to build a complete picture. OpsControl brings relevant information together in one operational environment, helping dispatchers maintain awareness without constantly switching between sources.
Too much information and too many alerts
Not every flight or event requires immediate action. OpsControl’s management-by-exception approach helps filter out routine information and highlight the flights and events that actually require attention.
Gaps in flight tracking
Maintaining visibility can become difficult when individual tracking sources are unavailable or coverage is limited. OpsControl can combine multiple tracking sources, including ADS-B and ACARS, to help maintain continuous visibility across the operation.
Changing weather and airport conditions
Weather and NOTAM changes can affect operational decisions throughout a flight. With integrated weather and NOTAM information, dispatchers can monitor relevant changes directly within their operational view and use the What-If tool to assess airport suitability when circumstances change.
Keeping track of operational events
Movement messages, warnings, service messages, and other events can easily get lost in a busy operational environment. OpsControl’s notification capabilities help bring important events to the attention of the right people at the right time.
Fragmented operational information

The demonstration will show these challenges from a dispatcher’s perspective and how OpsControl can help turn a complex flow of operational information into a clearer, more manageable workflow.
What’s Next for OpsControl Flight Tracking?
After the use case demonstration, Karl-Emil Pantzar, Product Owner of OpsControl, will share an update on the product roadmap. He will provide insight into where OpsControl is heading and how AIR SUPPORT continues to develop the platform based on the changing needs of flight operations. The session will finish with a live Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask Simone and Karl-Emil about the use case, OpsControl Flight Tracking, or specific challenges in your own operation.
